"Wildfire" Rebecca Tanke towers above the competition more often than not,
standing at six feet, two inches tall and weighing in at a *very* powerful
182 lbs. As far as ewrestling characters I've created goes, she was
created, I believe, forth or fifth, after her younger brother, Wilde, and
Shelly Hollins, who are my two oldest characters, having been created around
1992. I quickly threw in an uncle for Wilde (Ace Tanke), and I think
I created the model for Jeff Duane before Rebecca, too.
The others were created to be a part of a comicbook series I still want to
write sometime. Rebecca was created with that in mind, but she was
also created to give me an entry into the LLL. See, I was a part of
the play by mail IWA (Imaginary Wrestling Association)
at the time. It's way overrated. Rebecca won a title or two,
though, including the third ever IWA wide Queen of the Ring. Each momth,
they'd put the winner of last month's battle royal into a tournament, or
something. Of course, at the time, there were only three women's federations
total.
She was one of my origional four ewrestlers, along with her younger brother
Wilde (then 17), their uncle Ace Tanke, and Jeff Duane. They were later
joined by Shelly Hollins. The federation, of course, was Mike D's IWCW.
Shelly managed Wilde at the time. Rebecca would manage him when
he moved to AFW a month later. She's managed several wrestlers at one
time or another, some of which were my other characters, some of which were
not. She "married" Maximus_Ordicus, but the marriage is considered
to have been nulled sometime either before or after she joined SCCW. They
had one child togther, named Brandi after her aunt, on her father's side.
(Said aunt was actually Wilde's girlfriend for a while in 1997). Brandi
Anke is believed
to have been born in November of 1998, although I never decided on that definitivly.
