YouthFul Image

The memory

That's right.  I'm updating the page one final time, although it's certainly possable that YouhtFul Image will again live someday in the future.

NWC Purgatory! "The Legacy" Trent Prophet defeats"Wise Ass" Wilde Tanke! The problems started when Trent Prophet wanted to take out "Snake Eyes" Steve Sullivan, and Wilde retaliated later by saying they should go directly after "Peerless" Hunter Sabuani.  Those only vaguely familiar with YouthFul Image might not see the problem.  After all, their entire mission (their prime directive, for all you Trekkies out there) is (was?) to take over NWC by taking OUT the veteran superstars, and few match this definition as well as "Peerless" and "Snake Eyes."

The problem?  Quite obvious.  You don't mess with a man's heroes, or his family, which is exactly what the two so called friends were trying to do to each other.  Wilde's bond with his half brother Steve Sullivan has never been idealistic, but it's lasted.

Likewise, Trent's loyalties to his role model and hero were as real as Wilde's admiration towards Sabuani once was.  Even though the loyalty and ambition was repaid with scorn and betrayal from Sabuani, Trent is sticking by the decision he's made.  And like that, YI, who wanted to make history, now are history.  As is Wilde Tanke.

Expect a transaction of the events here soon.  In the meantime, a brief synopsis of the YoutFul Image history, sans dates for the time being.

In a sense, it all started at the last ever MWA card, Devil's Night 2.  It was that legendary event that Wilde shocked the world by lasting eighty minutes, thirty seconds.  Trent Prophet was also in the event; he didn't exactly embarrass himself either.

Wilde came into the matchup looking to make a name for himself, get a few hits in on old enemies, and collect a 'cool' hundred dollar prize from Hunter Sabuani, the bounty Sabuani had put on rival and former stable mate "Sheriff" Damon Hayes.  It was more than clear Wilde wasn't in this for just a mere hundred bucks.  After all, with a million dollars going to the winner, what appeal is there in going after one of the greatest wrestlers in the NWC, a former NWC World champion to boot, for a fraction of the potential revenue?

Wilde didn't win it in all that time, but he did manage to get three big eliminations.  One was when he backpedalled on Hayes after avoiding him most the contest, then back dropped him out of the match.  Another was on Peter Aerts, who won the initial eight person battle royal for the initial junior weight championship.  Wilde was one of those eight men.  The final elimination was on Zamza, who Wilde faced on a ten man tables match and got a pinfall win over.  After Wilde's elimination, Zamza got his revenge, pounding Wilde.

No matter.  Wilde seeked out his hundred dollars and went to Georgia to collect, where he ran into the head of the Hunter Sabuani fan club; Trent Prophet.

The two quickly formed a strange bond that would mark their relationship in the future.  Wilde got on Trent's nerves, but below the insults and hassling each other, a friendship was obviously quickly formed.  Trent talked to Wilde about his ex girlfriend, Sarah Jacobs, who was quickly showing signs of obsessing with Trent.  Wilde confessed he in fact not only knew her and her family, but he'd known her longer than Trent!  He even revealed a little secret; her sister Lucinda had dated Lance Wilder a few times, and her cousin was Hunter Sabuani!!  Needless to say, Trent was shocked.

A few weeks later, Wilde Tanke was backstage at a BSW No Mercy taping when Trent attacked.  Trent went on to attack Wilde during a six man match which could have gotten Wilde a BSW title shot.  He also attacked Wilde during a Prime Time title shot against then BSW Prime Time champion, Alex Bold.  That backfired when then BSW president "Prime Time" Brian Taylor (for who the title was named)

A work in progress; if you see this, there's still more of the story yet to be written or uploaded.

YI in happier times.  Feel free to check out the old YI site here.
